In 1971 the Lord called Pastor Ken Sortedahl to start a home for children in Spring Valley, Wisconsin. The Sortedahl family moved into an old farm house on a 77 acre farm the Lord provided.
For more than 35 years they worked with over 2000 boys and girls to help them to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
The children come to the school at no set charge, but the parents pay what they can afford to contribute each month toward their child’s support.
This is a faith work. We are not affiliated with any one denomination (although churches and Christians of all denominations help support the ministry), we do not take any government aid, we simply look to the Lord Jesus Christ by faith to supply our needs.
As the reputation for graduating children with “changed lives” became known in wider circles so did the demand for acceptance of more students. We have students enrolled in our school from all across the United states from California to New York.
Any time you feel we can be of help, please call the school.
